Karimi Chouyouti, Artist and Galerist from Benin, Porto Novo.

He was on the move in the Paris art scene for a long time Commuted between continents – Europe and West Africa. Managed BLACKMAP, the cultural portal for black cultures, worked as a journalist in the cultural sector for institutions, artists, media. Karimi was a consultant for the Communication Agency 1717 International, managed the work for “Wake up Africa” and supervised special campaigns for sustainable development in Congo. Development in congo. He is still committed to humanitarian aid and practices this in a beautiful project in Avantgarden Benin.

Inspired by his collaboration with French and German artists, he took up the paintbrush himself and realised that he would increasingly place his life in the light of painting and drawing. Intensive self-study, as well as collaboration with other artists, set him on his path, which culminated in the opening of the Case Nomade gallery in Porto Novo in 2020.

A close artistic friendship and cooperation between the Case Nomade and Art for Africa galleries also connects Benin and Europe here.
