Porträt Elisabeth Röder

Elisabeth Röder lives and works in Augsburg as a freelance artist.

What inspires her: the constantly changing faces of our earth under the influence of light and shadow and the visible patterns and traces of time fascinate her and are the starting point for her painting. Color is the direct path to emotions and emotions and an indispensable medium of her artistic work.
In many work steps, she processes the relevant subject process layer by layer. In order to make the idea ideal, she uses various experimental techniques as a “medium of her experiences and memories”. In the process of painting, these are transformed into multifaceted new farfetas recalling natural events. Her works contain something mystical and leaves the viewer a lot of space for personal interpretation.
